One last Sportrait session to round out 2010. This session featured the Campbell Cougars basketball team. A big thank you to the girls who where great to work with and ultimately made everyone relaxed to have a great time during the shoot. We did this session to create some promotional banners that will put around their gymnasium.
Each player posed for their own shot and I then stitched all of the players into a panoramic banner.
I really like the composition of this shot, inspired by the famous Michael Jordan wing span shot.
Yes, I am envious that I can not palm a basketball.
One of my favorite shots from the session. I usually try to pose groups of people in triangles but for this shot I tried to achieve it with one.
A bit of a twist on a traditional team shot that will be used as a poster
Some will love this treatment, some with dislike it. A different approach to a traditional team photo treatment with a grunge background to emphasize the players. A big thank you to gaffers tape so that all of the players could then “palm” the basketballs.
As we roll into 2011 I want to thank everyone who has supported Shutter Stops Photography. Next year will surely bring new and exciting projects to share. If you would like to be a part of one or would like more information on a session drop me an email or call 603-496-8330.
